We are looking for a software engineer to join an agile team responsible to deliver amazing customer experiences to millions of users worldwide of a fast-Growing service. In this position you will be challenged to solve problems of diverse complexity and scope. We expect you to have the ability to handle most unique situations, exercising independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution. Designs enhancements, updates, and programming changes for portions and subsystems of end-User applications software running on web based platforms. Analyzes design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities required based on specific objectives and established project guidelines. Identifies and debugs issues with code and writes changes or improvements. Collaborates and communicates with internal and outsourced development partners regarding software applications design status, project progress, and issue resolution. Provides guidance and mentoring to less- Experienced staff members and may act as a team lead back-End development for web platforms jenkins, git debugging, test-Driven-Development, unit tests. Experience in object oriented design. Familiarity with web development languages, protocols and tools (with model-View-Controller). Understanding of agile methodologies. Strong written and verbal communication skills mastery in english and local language. Ability to effectively communicate code design proposals and negotiate options at management levels. Works closely with architects and technology leads, directly engaging with internal and external software development teams experience in ruby, rails, python database querying and design cloud platforms architecture (aws).
