Short description technical services organization (tso) jr. Manager responsible for reformulations to ensure products in avons inline portfolio remain in compliance with changing regulatory requirements and reformulations addressing service issues related to the changing raw materials portfolio worldwide. Requires in-Depth cft formulation knowledge to quickly develop and implement reformulation strategies across a wide range of product types and assist with technical solutions for service related issues. Incorporates product sustainability improvements into reformulations where Responsible for technical development of product as well as assuring timelines, project deliverables and resource needs are clear. Needs to understand consumer needs, be passionate about creating geographically diverse and inclusive products in alignment with existing ri portfolio and efficacy testing. Works closely with marketing, planning, sourcing and r&d research partners to support existing product portfolio maintenance Defines innovative technologies and uses technical methods and sensory testing to evaluate product performance and ensure targets are delivered. Works with r&d partner functions and market research to qualify product safety, efficacy, compliance, stability and quality and to validate product performance with the consumer. Lead and develop team of 3+ specialistsskills and competencies Expertise in formulation science and strong technical problem solving skills Ability to identify new technology solutions and work with external partners to bring new solutions in. Strong lab bench skills and technical competency Strong chemistry and analytical training as well as problem solving, interpersonal, team, bench and communications (oral & written) skills. Strong organizational competencies and able to work successfully in a matrix global environment. Experience with green/ sustainable chemistry and design-To-Cost principles is a plus Need to demonstrate curiosity and a global mind
