Role overview we are looking for: inside the digital technology (dt) service of solvay, the mes team is in charge of preparing and delivering solutions for several world wide manugacturing execution systems (mes). The team also brings mes support. Mes dessign engineer delivers day to day support services to mes users, directly or indirectly by drafting troubleshooting guides to the first level support. He/she takes part in the mes design and roll-Out projects he/she designs, develops and rolls-Out custom mes applications the incumbent is part of the technical it expertise center for the mes systems and provides assistance to all dt team for its roll-Out. We count on you for: designs, installs, configures, manages, monitors and supports mes server software with its data flow through firewalls designs and supports mes client software. For custom mes applications: designs functional specifications with key-Users develops and tests (or supervises developments and tests) designs and runs acceptance tests and rolls-Out.
