Production technologists are experts in technical workflows who collaborate with internal and external cross-Functional partners providing technical guidance based on our specifications and best practices, in order to support the creative filmmaking process and achieve the highest quality content for our consumers. Whether its scripted or unscripted content, production technologists strive to support efficient workflows on all the phases of the production timeline acting as a consultant for production crews, vendors, and internal teams. By staying up-To-Date with the most advanced developments in professional and consumer technology, production technologist carry varied, yet overlapping backgrounds, in motion picture production, post-Production, and distribution - Cameras, image science, dailies, editorial, color correction, image capture, encoding, compression, data management, deliverables, archival, vfx imaging and more! The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of intellectual curiosity as well as the ability to align and communicate challenges to internal teams to drive innovation, adapt to challenges, and excel in execution they will have a passion for technical, operational, and creative problem-Solving, with deep knowledge of production and post-Industry. Having empathy for those you interact with who are unfamiliar with the technology is critical for this role as we will collaborate every day with the crews as well as our internal production, post-Production, distribution, facilities, and creative teams. As part of the production technology team, you will: be a technical support resource for our internal and external production partners during the production cycle evaluate technical workflows and provide guidance for ouroriginals productions work with production and post management teams on the best technical creative solutions for each production educate internal and external teams on our technical specifications, production best practices, and why
