We help the world run better The project management specialist is the entry steppingstone position on the project management career path and is responsible for performing all basic functions in the project management areas, being capable to manage small and medium projects and/or manage project workstreams in a larger project, also supporting experienced project/program managers in the pmo (project management office) for all aspects of the project over the entire lifecycle (prepare, explore, realize, deploy and run). Must be familiar with sap system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, to effectively coordinate the activities of the whole team under his roles (not exhaustive):- Understand the sap delivery models defined in sap activate, ensuring proper use of methodology, tools, and procedures on your daily basis. Maintain the governance model with pmo over the entire lifecycle of the project.- Own the project engagement and be responsible for delivery of its major elements including project business objectives, scope and solution within quality criteria, on time and budget- Review project plans and scope with the team to ensure that all team members understand the assigned tasks and associated deliverable dates.- Translate generalized customer business goals and objectives into concrete strategy and tactical delivery plans for the project engagement.- Understand basic contract concepts and deliver primed fixed price project (fpp) and time and material (t&m) engagements.- Active risk management, implement and maintain an ongoing risk and quality management framework,- Build proactive formal and informal communication/relationship with key stakeholders (internal/external)- Evaluate medium to complex situations accurately and identify viable solutions that create successful outcome for the customer.- Escalate early issues about the projects / program to account management and sap services leadership.
