Job description title: technical project manager location: west tower, ga duration: + months contract nature of work: hybrid short description: the project manager (pm) will have a proven track record of implementing cloud saas and customized software projects for complex initiatives. Primary duties and responsibilities independently lead, manage, plan and organize project team understand the project objectives by thoroughly comprehending the business, technology, security risks and goals create, maintain, and manage overall project plans review, revise, and recommend changes to all project deliverables report project status as required to gta enterprise program management office ensure project schedule and deliverables are managed in accordance with gta policies, standards, and guidelines provide technical knowledge and direction engage appropriate stakeholders and incorporate feedback and requirements collaborate with business partners, stakeholders, and senior management coordinate project communications, risks, and issues resolution identify obstacles and escalate issues, as needed provide issue resolution and manage project interdependencies track progress and create project status reports and regular metrics required: + years of prior project management experience technical pm experience required years cloud saas software projects required years creating complicated it project plans required years project management tools required years managing communication and project status across multiple stakeholders required years experience negotiating and managing third-Party vendors required years sdlc experience required years desired development/management of software rfp experience highly desired agile methodology highly desired pmp certification highly desired pm with a state government highly desired.
